Blog Policy/Disclosure
Updated 4/4/10
This blog contains thoughts that are strictly my own and are never influenced by any company or individual.
YOU are my number one priority when it comes to reviews. I will never be anything but 100% honest with my reviews because you deserve it, period.
Yes, I have received free products from companies, and you will always know when that is the case.
No, that does not in any way shape my opinion of something.
My reviews are based on my own personal experience with something. You may have a different experience, and I am in no way responsible for that. All I can do is tell you my opinion, it's up to you to find out if something works for you or not.
Simply stated, I will never tell you guys something that I don't truly believe. Hopefully over the years you have learned to trust me and/or my opinion, and I would never do anything to jeopardize that.

FAQ
Who is that guy in the background?
This is the number one question I get asked and I really don't understand why. I don't respond to these comments anymore because I've answered it many, many times. That is my fiance. His name is John and he's really cute, as many of you have been kind enough to say.
KITTY!/I see a cat in the background/Your cat is distracting me...
This is the second most popular comment I get. Yes, you will see my cats in the background from time to time. Maybe even my dog if she feels like napping on my bed that day. I usually don't respond to these comments because there's not much to say. It's their house, so they can lay wherever they want. If they're distracting you, you don't have to watch. To those who have said how cute/pretty my pets are, thank you! They're my whole world. :)
What camera do you use?
I use a Canon PowerShot A590IS for pictures and a Canon FS200 camcorder for videos. I usually use the "vivid" color setting on both, and I always use the macro setting on my digital camera.
What video editing software do you use?
I have used Windows Movie Maker in the past, but I currently use Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.
Are you a working makeup artist?
Yes, though a generally unemployed one. I live in a fairly small town, and thanks to the economy, I don't have many clients. I do have some proms, weddings and other special occasions under my belt, and plan on continuing on the path of a freelance MUA.
Have you gone to beauty school?
No. I learned everything I know from years of practice, lots of trial and error, reading and YouTube. Practice is your best friend.
How do you afford all of that makeup?
A lot of beauty bloggers get asked this. I am even guilty of asking it myself once, before I became a blogger and realized how incredibly rude it is. The only answer I will give you is this : you're seeing hauls and collections that have been in the making for years and years. I didn't go out and buy everything I own in one day, week, month or even year. As long as you're not footing the bill for my hobby (and job), it doesn't really matter.
Will you check out my channel? Sub4sub? Will you be my friend?
I'd be more than happy to check out your channel, but I don't do the sub4sub thing. If I feel like I will learn something from you, I will probably subscribe. If not, don't be offended..I have over 100 subscriptions on YouTube and it's impossible to keep up with the ones I have. I also don't accept friend requests on YouTube. The only purpose of YouTube's friend system is to send private videos to them, and I only ever send private videos to my close personal friends. No offense meant at all! I absolutely LOVE talking to you guys, though, and you can find links to my Twitter and facebook on the Links page.
I am an owner of a cosmetics company and I want you to review our items...
That's great! I'm always ready to try new things, and if they're good, spread the word. My reviews are 100% honest, so if you're looking for someone to go over any positive and/or negative aspects of you products, I'd be happy to do it.
If you have any questions regarding this blog, my policy or about me in general, feel free to contact me via the form below and I will get back to you ASAP. I will always respond to comments or messages on YouTube, Twitter and facebook if I am able to. Unfortunately Weebly does not have a reply to comment feature, so if you're asking a question, it may be better to contact me elsewhere (one of the sites mentioned previously or the form below).
