Beauty from the Earth Swatches 09/01/2009
L-R : Copper Cauldron, Wizard's Wand, Rant, Peacock, Karma, Grape and Blueberry These were all swatched over my NYX jumbo pencil in Milk. Hey guys! I just got a package from Beauty from the Earth, and I could NOT wait to swatch these! Let me start by saying that everything was packaged very nicely, the six pots were in a ziplock baggie and then wrapped in tissue paper, and then Blueberry was a sample baggie stapled to a business card. For those of you who follow BFTECosmetics on Twitter, you'll know that they had a contest to name their Fall 2009 collection not too long ago. They picked two of my names, so I won six colors! The two that were picked were Copper Cauldron and Wizard's Wand, and I can't even tell you guys how proud I am that they liked two of my names! Both of those colors are BEAUTIFUL, you guys really have to check out the fall collection when it comes out! As for the shadows in general, they are very soft, pigmented and have the prettiest glow I've ever seen from mineral shadows without being a shimmer bomb. They're super affordable, so if you guys haven't tried them yet..I recommend them totally! Be sure to follow them on Twitter, you might end up naming something from their next collection! 1 Comment blogTV OMGWTF Rainbow 08/28/2009
Hey guys! This is just a look I did on blogTV with the help of everyone's input on what colors to use. A big thanks to AssiieJj and everyone else for coming up with lots of it, and don't forget to check out Chocolate Candy Beauty who recreated this look, but more subtle! You guys are AWESOME!

Hey guys! It's about that time of year for school to start back up. A lot of my viewers are teenagers who are in high school or just starting college and are pressed for time in the morning, but still want to wear a little bit of makeup. I wanted to focus on drug store products in this video because they're readily accessible to everyone and so much more affordable.
Like I mentioned in the video, when you're young you do NOT need to wear a ton of makeup! You may think you do because of acne, boys or whatever, but less is always more in the long run. Wearing a lot of makeup on top of acne will most likely increase your problem, so try bumping up your skin care routine instead of the amount of face products you use. Hey guys! This is a look I did for my friend Natasha (myeyeshadowisodd). I asked what she'd like to see and she said Big Bird, so here it is!

Hey guys! This is a themed series I've been wanting to do for a while now and I finally got my butt in gear! First up is Plumpy, the furry green monster with a plum tree. For some odd reason MUFE #92 photographs as an almost royal blue color, but in real life it is a GORGEOUS vibrant purple. I hope you guys like this series as much as I'm going to! OVC - Earth Fairy 06/12/2009
Hey guys! I was super excited for this weeks theme because I am a HUGE fairy nerd. Unfortunately I couldn't get any decent pictures of this look, either..I don't know what's wrong with me lately. Ah well, with the new camera it doesn't matter as much anymore haha! Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend and thanks for checking out my blog! 120 Palette - A System 06/10/2009
Hey guys! As you might know, I have the 120 palette from eBay. I REALLY love it, but it's so hard to use in tutorials because there are no names for anything..you just have to point and hope you're aiming in the right direction. I've seen a few different methods for labeling these palettes, like this one by beechbum06 and this one by sassysunshine01, but I switched mine up a bit to hopefully make it a bit easier (at least for me)! It's more like miss beechbum06's, but with my numbers going across and letters going down. Basically, it's like reading a grid, so you don't have to write in those teeny spaces for each shadow if you can't write small enough (like me)..just go across the top and down the side! OVC - Graduation 05/29/2009
Hey guys! It's graduation time, so we decided to run with that theme this week! I was home schooled during high school, but the colors for the school I would have gone to were burgandy and white. This would NOT photograph burgandy to save my life, and I only have one picture because my bright red Rudolph nose ruined the rest. I hope you guys can forgive me ^_^ OVC - Spring Sunset 05/15/2009
Hey guys! This is the first week doing looks on the new collab channel with Natasha and Cora, OddVintageCandyMUA. This weeks theme was spring, and when I think of spring I automatically think of bright colors. Everything is growing back, bright flowers are popping up everywhere and it's finally sunny again. My friend Max said it looked like a sunset, so props to him for the name. | AffiliatesArchivesNovember 2010 CategoriesAll |
