Two Cover Girl eyeshadow singles in Tapestry Taupe and Aqua Paradise and two Wet 'N Wild palettes in Pride and Lust.
You should all know from my mascara comparison that I adore Exact Eyelights. My opinion hasn't changed at all, it was just time for a new one. As for LBL, I've been wanting to try it out and with Rite Aid having a BOGO, now was the perfect time. It really does give a good amount of length, but not much girth. I didn't have any issues with clumping and it was pretty easy to take off with a makeup wipe. We'll see how I like it as I use it more.
Now for those delicious eyeshadows! Tapestry Taupe caught my eye because I've been really into neutrals lately, but ended up applying like a MAC Lustre (which if you haven't tried is a chunky glittery fall-out mess) so it promptly went back. Aqua Paradise is a nice dupe for MAC's Parrot eyeshadow, which is LE. I don't have Parrot but from some comparison swatches I've seen, the CG eyeshadow looks a little more shimmer, which isn't an issue for me. And just FYI - Cover Girl single eyeshadows are 2.5g for around $3, MAC eyeshadows are 1.5g for $11 (pro pan). Big savings!
Pride Palette : L to R, top to bottom, all MAC
Gesso
Filament (but less crappy)
Newly Minted
Steamy
Prussian (but insanely pigmented)
Deep Truth
Lust Palette : L to R, top to bottom, all MAC
Malt (but more pink)
Fairylite Pigment
Fig. 1
Knight Devine (but more pigmented and shimmery)
Shadowy Lady
Beauty Marked (but again, less crappy)
I hope this helped save some of you guys a little money, I know it definitely saved me quite a bit! I got my palettes for a whopping $5 total..as opposed to the $132 I would have spent on MAC shadows in the same colors (and that's assuming I only got pro pans)!
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
